Program Overview
The Entrepreneurship Certificate equips graduate students with essential skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, and organizational leadership applicable across a variety of professional and organizational contexts. Designed for students interested in small business management, startups, professional practice development, and organizational leadership, the certificate provides practical tools for designing, evaluating, and sustaining new ventures and initiatives.
Students develop competencies in entrepreneurial thinking, data-informed decision-making, financial analysis, market strategy, and organizational leadership. The curriculum prepares graduates to lead and manage small businesses, entrepreneurial ventures, nonprofit and public organizations, and innovation initiatives within established institutions. This certificate supports professionals seeking to expand their leadership capacity, enhance organizational effectiveness, and navigate complex operating environments across sectors.
Admission to the Certificate Program
Admission to the certificate program is granted to individuals who apply and meet the standards for admission to a graduate program. The certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all coursework with a minimum grade of “C” and an overall grade point average of 3.0 or above. No transfer credits may be used.
