HAUU 0011 Mental Health Technician
Certification Requirements: Graduate from a training program, related to the exam you are applying for, taken at an AMCA Approved Test Site. Proof of course completion is required, and applicants must pass the exam within one year from the date of training completion. This online mental health technician certification course does not meet state requirements for students intending to work in AR, CA, CO, and KS. Ensure that the Mental Health Technician course meets your state's requirements. Prepare for a rewarding career as a mental health technician with this online course that will provide you with all the tools needed to succeed in the psychiatric and mental health services industry. Upon completion of the certified mental health technician training course, you will be prepared to sit for the Mental Health Technician Certification (MHTC) exam offered by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). HAUU 0014 Registered Behavior Technician Training
Certification Requirements: Certification for peers is done at the state level, with every state having different requirements for certification of peers. For this reason, we encourage you to contact the appropriate agency within your state that oversees and provides credentials to individuals that want to work as a peer within that state for more certification information, as we cannot guarantee that our program will fulfill your state's requirements. To our knowledge, this course only meets requirements in Vermont, South Dakota and Florida. The focused Registered Behavior Technician Training course will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge to meet the 40-hour training component, which is one of the requirements by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to become an RBT. This RBT course includes a voucher that can be used for the BACB RBT certification exam only when all BACB RBT application requirements are met. This course does not include any application fees, background checks, or completion of the initial competency assessment. As of 1/1/24, BACB requires that all initial competency assessments should be completed by employer. Please ensure that you are familiar with BACB policies and application requirements when pursuing a career as a certified Registered Behavior Technician. 4.5 credits 4.5 credits.
